Service Champions Inc is Hiring a Director, Digital Marketing Near Irvine, CA

 

Champions Group is a fast-growing home services group of 19 individually branded Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning companies. We partner with local brands that put our people and customers first and being the best place to work.

We seek an expert Director of Digital Marketing to lead demand generation efforts across our digital platforms; specifically, acquisition, cross-sell, and retention for home services like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. You'll optimize data-driven strategies, collaborate with agencies to enhance programs and identify emerging trends. Your role includes evaluating and upgrading our marketing tech stack, forecasting performance, and managing a team of five digital marketers. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you'll be crucial in building, expanding and leading our digital marketing programs, initiatives and teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy & Optimization Data-Driven Insights: Develop comprehensive digital marketing plans for 19 individually branded HVAC companies, utilizing best practices and data-driven strategies. Monitor results and utilize data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and optimize campaigns.
  • Local Marketing Expertise & Audience Engagement and Conversion: Drive local marketing results via various channels such as GMB, LSA, paid search, SEO, social media, and email campaigns to engage and convert audiences.
  • Membership Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital programs to drive membership sign-ups, retention, and service usage.
  • Multi-site Planning & Operational Partnership: Develop a portfolio digital marketing plan tailored to individual brand needs, accommodating different service lines, regional needs, and brand situations. Develop partnerships across operations to understand unique market and brand needs.
  • Testing Strategies & Marketing Technology: Develop testing strategies in partnership with Campaign, Field Marketing, and Operations to improve all areas of the program. Evaluate and recommend marketing technology to automate processes and drive results.
  • Agency Management & Campaign Reporting: Work with various digital agencies to drive results and participate in testing. Improve vendor relationships and present standardized campaign reporting across all channels and strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Industry Trends: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in marketing and management.
  • Team Leadership & Team Player: Manage a team of approximately 5 individuals, managing 19 brands, focusing on scalability, driving results, and automation. Be an integral part of the marketing leadership team, working closely with field marketing and campaign teams for the team's overall success.
  • Goal Definition & Ownership: Define and own goals, KPIs, budget, placement allocations, and performance forecasts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 10 years in omnichannel marketing, executing, managing campaigns, managing vendors, preferably for an e-commerce/retail organization, and managing a team, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Marketing for local businesses is preferred, with multi-site marketing experience and an in-depth understanding of SEO principles, PPC, LSA, online reviews, social media, and best practices.
  • Experience working with various stakeholders, supporting multiple sites, and handling change management and integration of acquired entities, with excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excel in navigating a large organization, managing competing priorities, and adapting quickly to changing circumstances, ensuring alignment on business goals, KPIs, and market trends.
  • Analyze performance, provide actionable recommendations, and deliver continuous improvements across the channel portfolio to increase impact, with proven analytics experience and exceptional organizational skills.
  • A champion in continuously advancing one-to-one member engagement, with digital marketing expertise and agency management experience, including holding accountable for results.
